Pet Policy & Verification
Are your rentals verified pet-friendly?
We only list homes where pets are welcome. We verify pet rules with owners, agents and building juristic offices. We clearly label listings, so you know what’s been confirmed.
What pets do you support?
We mainly support cats and dogs. However, we also work with other pets on a case-by-case basis. Let us know your pet information in our Request a Match form and we’ll get in touch with suitable properties.
Do you accept large dogs?
Some buildings and owners accept large dogs and we will do our best to accommodate. If you have a large dog, share with us the breed / weight and we’ll match you with suitable options.
How does your pet-friendly “verification” work?
You can read our Pet Verification policy here. Bear in mind that pet rules can change, so we recommend confirming again in writing before signing your rental contract.
Can building rules change after I view a property?
Yes - pet policies can change but we endeavour to keep up-to-date pet-friendly terms for each property. We recommend confirming pet terms in writing and ensuring the pet clause is included in your contract before signing.
Pricing, Deposits & How Paws & Keys Works
Does it cost more to use Paws & Keys?
It doesn’t cost extra to use Paws & Keys. You pay the same rent you would through an agent. We’re paid via a referral fee from our partner agents when a deal completes. Any deposits or fees are set by the landlord / building and will be made clear upfront.
Who arranges the viewings and contracts?
We connect you with trusted local partner agents who handle viewings, negotiations, contracts and payments directly with landlords.
Do I need to pay extra deposit or fees for pet-friendly rentals?
Some landlords and buildings charge extra deposits and fees for pet-friendly rentals. We’ll flag all expected costs where possible so you can plan ahead. You do not pay extra for using Paws & Keys.
Do you manage the property after I move in?
No. We are a property matching / referral platform. Ongoing management, repairs and landlord communication are handled by your agent and landlord.
Matching Process & Coverage
How quickly can I get matched?
Most requests receive a response within 24 hours, depending on your budget, move date and pet requirements.
What areas do you cover?
We focus on Bangkok’s most popular expat areas (such as Thong Lor, Ekkamai, Phrom Phong, Ari, Asok, Sathorn and more). If you have a preferred area, please include it in your Request a Match submission.
What lease lengths do you support?
We focus on long-term rentals (6 months +). Most pet-friendly landlords prefer leases of more than 12 months and we offer properties for up to 36 months rental terms.
What information should I include to get the best matches?
Move-in date, budget, preferred area(s), number of bedrooms, pet type, number, breed and weight (very important).
Can you help if I’m not in Thailand yet?
Yes. Many clients request options before arriving. Share your move-in date and we’ll help shortlist options and coordinate with partner agents.
What if I can’t find the right home on current listings?
No problem - the fastest way is to Request a Match on our website and we’ll send options based on your pet information and requirements.
